Pure is the last feature written and directed by the late David Aaron Clark a multiple AVN Award winning director. It is a unique, visually stunning dark romance based on a controversial 1976 film called "In the Realm of the Senses" which was a fictionalized treatment of an infamous 1930s Japanese sex scandal between a former Japanese prostitute named Sada Abe and a rich hotel owner named Kichizo Ishida which ended with the death and castration of Ishida. The true story as well as their fictionalized treatments delve into struggle and exchange of power and class, particularly of that in Japanese culture and society. Featured in the leads of this S/M drama are Japanese-American beauty Asa Akira and brash, new British/Thai actor Keni Styles making his American debut. They play the star-crossed lovers, Sada and Kichi. Sophisticated, fetish-driven hardcore turns by Jessica Bangkok, Lana Violet and luscious Chinese submissive Destiny help propel both the plot and the edgy, kink-filled sex scenes. Also featured in a rare cameo in front of the camera is Evil Angel director and legendary pervert Jake Malone.
The Story:
Sada Abe is an ex-hooker who takes a job as a phone girl at Realm, a Los Angeles fetish dungeon staffed exclusively by Asian beauties. Head-Mistress Sun (Jessica Bangkok) runs a tight ship, servicing rich and powerful clients such as superstar rapper Cesar (Mr. Marcus). She neglects her husband and partner Kichi, however, which opens the door to an affair between him and Sada that begins at a secret orgy thrown by Realm employee Mistress Sayori (Lana Violet).
Sada and Kichi run decide to play house together, embarking on a non-stop existence of sex and sensuality, exploring kinks and fetishes that start out simple but become more complex and dangerous as time passes - Sada develops a fondness for sharp objects, as well as choking her lover during intercourse to increase the impact of her orgasm.
As their savings run out and the status quo seeks to reassert itself, Sada goes on an ill-fated trick with an old client, even as Sun tries to bribe her estranged husband into returning to their business. Can the profound bond between the beleaguered lovers survive, or will their kinky fairy-tale romance climax on the darkest note possible?
